Welcome to the September Newsletter
Let me introduce myself to those who are new to this newsletter ….
My name is Louisa Fitzgerald and I run Get Creative in Brighton.
Get Creative in Brighton was inspired by my children 15 years ago. I wanted so much for my own children to get as much joy from the creative arts as I do whilst having great fun and giggles along the way!
I am passionate about developing an environment where pre-school and school aged children are given the opportunity to express themselves through Drama, Dance and Art, whilst having fun making new friends; this is why I run creative workshops and clubs for children in term time and school holidays in Brighton. I also provide entertainment for children’s parties in Brighton & Hove.
I do what I love and I love what I do! Over the years, I have been a Primary class teacher, director and choreographer, SEN support teacher, LAMDA tutor, and a GCSE/A’Level English and Theatre Studies teacher.
If you have a young child and would like to join one of my preschool workshops then I would recommend Drama Tots on a Monday at Patcham Methodist Church. The first class is free to try. Why not bring a friend? Have a look at the “What’s On” page at www.getcreativeinbrighton.com for more information.
